One of the key issues in understanding Public Banks is how we understand the role of banks in relationship to money creation: are we adequately representing what a public bank actually enables? Have we made this reality clear to our elected representatives?
To get a sense of this, we’d like you to answer a quick 5 question survey which our colleagues at Rocky Mountain Public Banking Institute have posted for us below.
This is not a quiz, no grades will be issued, the survey is anonymous. It’s taken many of us years to truly understand the role of banks in the economy. This survey is to assess our level of collective understanding on this key issue. Periodic survey results will be posted in aggregate form.
